INGREDIENTS:
| Apple | 1 large |
| Mustard seeds | ¼ tablespoon |
| Fenugreek seeds | a pinch |
| Turmeric powder | a pinch |
| Chilli powder | ½ tablespoon |
| Asafoetida (Hing) | a pinch |
| Sugar | 2 tablespoon |
| Salt | to taste |
METHOD:
1. In a saucepan dry roast the mustard seeds.
2. When they splutter, add fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder & asafoetida. Immediately put the apples with a little water, if required.
3. Stir & mix thoroughly.
4. Add chilli powder, salt & sugar. Stir & cook till the apples start to soften.
5. Allow the chutney to cool & store in a dry airtight jar.
