INGREDIENTS:
| Any dal | 1 cup |
| Onion | 1 small (chopped) |
| Tomato | 1 small (chopped) |
| Ginger & garlic paste | 1 tablespoon |
| Turmeric powder | ¼ tablespoon |
| Red chilli powder | ¼ tablespoon |
| Garam masala | ¼ tablespoon |
| Salt | To taste |
METHOD:
1. Boil the dal with salt and turmeric in a cooker.
2. In a karahi add onions. Roast till golden brown. To this add ginger & garlic paste, tomatoes, salt, chilli powder and garam masala.
3. When the gravy is prepared add it to the dal.
4. Let the dal come to a boil.
5. Serve the healthy & oil free Dal recipe garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
