INGREDIENTS:
| Broken wheat | 2 cups |
| Green gram dal | 1/2 cup |
| cumin seeds | 1/2 tablespoon |
| Pepper powder | a pinch |
| Mustard seeds | 1/4 tablespoon |
| Curry Leaves | a few |
| Salt | to taste |
METHOD:
1. Steam 2 cups of broken wheat & ½ cup of green dal in 4½ cups of water.
2. When done, season them with roasted cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and pepper powder.
3. Serve Hot Broken Wheat Pongal.
