INGREDIENTS:

Broken wheat 2 cups
Green gram dal 1/2 cup
cumin seeds 1/2 tablespoon
Pepper powder a pinch
Mustard seeds 1/4 tablespoon
Curry Leaves a few
Salt to taste

 

METHOD:

1. Steam 2 cups of broken wheat & ½ cup of green dal in 4½ cups of water.
2. When done, season them with roasted cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and pepper powder.
3. Serve Hot Broken Wheat Pongal.
